A man accidentally sat on his Subway sandwich and created a new TikTok trend. It's like a DIY flatbread, in a way.

Some are calling it the DIY flatbread and others are calling it the human panini press. You can call it whatever you'd like, but it sounds like it might be worth a try and it sounds very easy to do. Desiree Osio posted a video on TikTok showing what happened when her husband, Michael, fell onto his Subway sandwich in their driveway. Now, the video has gone viral on social media with more than 48 million views. People have started trying it for themselves and it appears to be taking off! See her uncensored TikTok video below. That's one flat sandwich!

Desiree captioned the video, "My husband fell and his whole body landed on top of half of his sub--turned it into a FLAT sandwich." When she says "FLAT" she is no joking. It's paper thin!

Commenters are having lots of fun with the video, calling it a Flat Stanley Sandwich, the human panini press, and saying he created the world's first tortilla sub. They aren't wrong. After the video blew up, they shared security video of the flattening happening and a reenactment of the events as well. They're clearly capitalizing on the attention the video is getting and that's the right thing to do once you go viral. Lean in, baby! Milk it dry! You don't go viral every day so you have to take advantage of the eyeballs you're getting.

I was expecting him to be much bigger! He's not as large as I expected after seeing how flat that sandwich got. So, go ahead and give it a try the next time you get a Subway sandwich. It's probably best to do it yourself and don't have the sandwich artist do it for you.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
