Is "uh duh-duh" TikTok's new favorite insult? It certainly seems like it looking at recent trends on the social media app.

"Uh duh-duh" started going viral thanks to TikToker user @luv.yves8 warning parents not to buy certain backpacks because of how it will make their kids look. The phrase quickly took off on social media and is now being used as an insult everywhere you look it seems like, especially by Gen Z. According to Daily Dot, the phrase is even topping Google Trends as people trying to figure out what the slang means. It can be hard to keep up with lingo these days and you don't want to be left behind!

The TikToker now has more than 1.2 million followers on the app. The original video has more than 43.9 million views which is crazy. To be fair, the backpacks are a bit much and your kid might get teased for it. They're spikey and just a little bit extra. A normal backpack works just fine, no need to get all fancy with it.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
