An Australian man is going viral for making money as a "coffin confessor." Sounds like he doesn't have much competition in that career.

People can spend their entire lives trying to find their calling and their dream career. Bill Edgar was able to find his in being a "coffin confessor." That's a job I had never heard of and didn't realize was a real thing. What does he do? He is basically a secret keeper who reveals the secrets of the dead to friends and family after they've passed on, per Metro. Sometimes they can be good secrets and sometimes they can be bad. It's all a part of the job. It started when he was having tea with a man who told him that he had pancreatic cancer and he knew his best friend was involved with his wife. Ouch. So, instead of having the revelation announced at the eulogy the man had Edgar sneak into the funeral and break into the eulogy to reveal what he knew all along, per Metro. What do you think about that?

Metro reports that Edgar charges just over $5k to provide his gifts from the afterlife services. It sounds expensive but it's probably worth it. He's risking a lot! Some of the information he's delivering could end up with him getting punched in the face.

Can you imagine having a stranger show up to your funeral, or the funeral of a loved one, to make this kind of announcement? They would have had it coming. Go out with a bang, I guess. Read more about his career as a coffin confessor from Metro here.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
