An angry customer has been accused of setting a cafe on fire after they ran out of mayo. Talk about an overreaction!

It happened in Los Palacios y Villafranca, Spain. Staff and customers were reportedly scared when they witnessed the man spray petrol (gas) on the bar and set it on fire. According to Oddity Central, the man went to the restaurant with his son and ordered 2 sandwiches. Cameras at the restaurant showed him talking to a waiter asking about mayo and that's when he got set off and went to a nearby gas station and came back with some ready to use it.

Oddity Central reports that the restaurant was practically full at the time. The staff was able to quickly put out the fire and there was only minimal damage. However, the arsonist did set his own hand on fire as he fled the scene. He was apprehended not long after and is now awaiting sentencing.

Oddity Central says the fire caused roughly $9,500 in damage and nobody (outside of the suspect) was injured in the fire. All of this over mayo? That's wild! Although, from what I hear, Chuck is ready to do this if you put mayo on his sandwich.
