There's a viral video making the rounds online showing a White Castle A.I. drive-thru trying to charge a customer $15k for a $16 order! Artificial Intelligence has its advantages but there are some negatives too!

Can you imagine being charged $15k for a combo meal? That would be ridiculous. Most of the time, at fast food places, I don't even pay attention to what they say the price is, I generally know about how much it'll be and hand my card over--but it's a good thing this guy was paying attention. If he wasn't he would have had a $15k charge show up from White Castle! That would be an expensive slider! Check out the viral video shared on TikTok below. Always make sure the price is right before you pay!

This is a well-needed PSA because a lot of drive-thru chains are switching to A.I. customer service and while it can work well and be useful, it can also go wrong. Can you imagine getting home and seeing that charge in your bank account? That would be a hassle to take care of and you'd end up on the phone with your bank all day. Ugh.

Don't let this happen to you! Lots of commenters are pointing out how many employees are losing their jobs so these restaurants can implement A.I. like this and it doesn't seem to be paying off. Other commenters point out how dramatic the A.I. is with its pauses and such. You can always count on the comments section for quality entertainment.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
