It feels like every day we're talking about a new story either onboard an airplane or at the airport. It could be an unruly passenger, a rude gate agent, a malfunctioning plane, and more. This time around, it's a plane passenger who allegedly tried to open the cabin door and then punched a crew member. It happened on a Saudia Airlines plane traveling from Saudi Arabia and ended with an arrest at the Heathrow Airport in London.

According to PEOPLE, the 33-year-old male passenger was arrested after allegedly punching a member of the crew and trying to open the aircraft's door. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that he was arrested on suspicion of endangering an aircraft; 2 counts of assault by beating; behaving in a threatening, abusive, or disorderly manner towards a member of aircraft crew; and damaging an aircraft, per PEOPLE.
Sounds like the passenger started arguing with a crew member before hitting him as he tried to open the plane door just after landing at Heathrow Airport.
A witness told The Sun (via PEOPLE), "It was chaos on board and very frightening for families. The plane had wheels down but a passenger was so agitated and struck out at the crew because he wanted to get off there and then. Passengers and airport workers looking on were dumbstruck...as ambulance and police vehicles dashed to the scene." Wow. Most people hate when people start trying to get up and off the plane too early without opening the door. This takes it to another level.
