Amputee Sex Fetish

It's really crazy that we can still be shocked by fetishes. We assume that we've covered everything. We have obviously discussed amputee fetishes before but never in this scenario. A vascular surgeon, who amputated his own legs, was jailed for insurance fraud. But, he also has a fetish for amputations...and he has performed hundreds as part of his job.

According to BBC, "An NHS vascular surgeon who had his own legs removed has been jailed for two years and eight months for insurance fraud and possessing extreme pornography. Neil Hopper, 49, of Truro, Cornwall, carried out hundreds of amputation operations before having his own legs removed in 2019. Truro Crown Court heard he lied to insurers by claiming that injuries to his legs were the result of sepsis and not self-inflicted. It heard that in May 2019 Hopper had below knee amputations after a "mysterious illness". In fact he had used ice and dry ice to freeze his own legs so they had to be removed, said prosecutor Nicholas Lee."

There is so much to this story. We first were shocked at the fact that this guy amputated his own legs in some sort of sexual gratification act. But, then we find out that he performs the amputations for a hospital and wonder what came first...the fetish or the job?

We won't be able to know that but we do make many speculations. One report states that he has had this amputation fetish since childhood and that would suggest the fetish came before the job. It seemingly shaped his whole life, so he could end up doing amputations one day, allegedly.

It is a really crazy story and we'll be following it to find out if anything else is revealed during the investigation. Be thankful, even if your fetish is crazy, that it isn't amputations! I know we are!
