A Japanese man invented a helmet that protects your face if you drop your phone. All you need is for it to happen to you once and you'll consider buying one!

Have you ever dropped your phone directly onto your face while lying down? It can really hurt! Those things are heavier than you'd think when they hit your nose. Thankfully, a guy in Japan invented a special helmet that protects your face if you drop your phone. Is it attractive? No, it's not. But if you've ever felt that pain you'd be willing to invest in one! They really are ahead of the game over there in Japan. Check out the video shared on Instagram here.

I've seen worse inventions! I've never been comfortable looking at my phone that way. It's too risky! I'd rather roll over onto my side or put my phone down and look at it that way. I'm not about to break my nose because I dropped my phone on my face!

What do you think? Is it ridiculous or a good idea?

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
