A Pennsylvania Walmart made the decision to ban a man's emotional support alligator. Hard to believe this happened in Pennsylvania and not Florida!

I feel like whenever we talk about alligators on Dave & Chuck The Freak it's a story out of Florida. Maybe it's a story about an officer who bare-handed an alligator out of a pool, a person attacked by a gator, and more. This time around it's a little different. It's a Pennsylvania Walmart that banned a man's emotional support alligator. Have to believe gator sightings are pretty rare there in Pennsylvania. 60-year-old Wesley Silva says his 5-foot-long alligator Jinseioshi has been banned from the store in West Brownsville. He would push her around the store in a cart while she wore a dress, NBC News reports. Check out a video report shared by NBC News on YouTube below.

Silva told NBC News, "We have been going to that Walmart for about 3.5 years, and normally the reaction is 'that's pretty cool' or 'that is awesome that you have a pet alligator, man!'"

However, Walmart doesn't see it as cool and awesome. A Walmart spokesperson tells NBC News, "The safety of our customers and associates is our highest priority. We welcome service animals in our stores, but it is unacceptable to expose members of the public to potential danger."

Jinseioshi isn't Silva's only unique pet. According to NBC News, he also has 6 snakes, a leopard gecko, a Komodo dragon, an ocellated skink, and a second alligator! All in Pennsylvania? That's wild.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
