According to Scallywag and Vagabond, 23-year-old Lena Deoliveira has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly hitting her boyfriend in the head with a hatchet as he slept. When officers arrived on the scene the victim told them he was alone and was attacked without warning. He was then taken to the hospital for treatment.

Another man who was at the scene said the victim was attacked by his girlfriend, who was identified as Deoliveira, per AZ Family. Not only was he hit in the head but he had 2 fingers "king of hanging," per AZ Family. Deoliveira was later located in Moorhead, Minnesota and has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. She's expected back in court in October.
