A California man is going viral after using a giraffe to help him propose. He's getting major brownie points online!

These days, it feels like you can't just propose to your significant other--you have to go above and beyond. You have to do something special, memorable, and something that could go viral online. No, you don't really have to do that but it does seem to be more popular these days. Just like those viral gender reveals. She's a veterinarian and loves animals so he took her interests and incorporated it into the proposal. Smart thinking! It's creative, it's unique to her, and it can go viral online.

According to PEOPLE, the couple, Lila Batiari and Zachary Gladnick went to B. Bryan Preserve in Point Arena where Gladnick had a plan to pop the question with the help of a giraffe. They booked a giraffe painting tour which is a rare opportunity to help a giraffe paint a canvas and you get to feed it too.

Gladnick's Instagram caption says, "We got Mazi (the giraffe) to do some 'painting' for each of us! Here I thought we were just taking a picture with his masterpieces. Zach planted multiple things for the days leading up to it, to throw me off. He pulled off a good one."

Points to him! That's a clever way to propose and cool of him to use something she's interested in. Take notes, fellas.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
