Have you seen any young people with tooth tattoos? It's becoming a popular trend for youths especially in China.

Tooth tattoos appear to be the new popular trend in China which means it might not be long until it's a trend here in the United States. The tooth tattoos--aka dental crowns--have been a popular display on social media recently and more and more young people are getting them. They're essentially designs put onto 3D-printed crowns that fit over natural teeth, per Vice. They can have an image, initials, numbers, or phrases. They can even be switched out at different times depending on your mood and what you want to put out there.

Vice says that dental clinics even started advertising tooth tattoos as part of their services. It's an interesting, and non-permanent way, to show your unique style and personality. Of course, not everyone is onboard with the new trend. People against it point out that it makes crowns fragile and more likely to break. Others point out that it's not a professional look.

What do you think? Is it a harmless trend or is it not for you? I like that it isn't permanent and can be replaced at any time. I could see myself getting one, honestly.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
