A California woman in the San Francisco Bay area started a billboard campaign to help her find a husband. I can see this working!

We talk about it all the time--dating is tough! It's a hard scene with a lot of competition. So, if you're looking for love you have to find creative ways to cut through the clutter and really stand out. That California woman is Lisa Catalano and she started a website MarryLisa.com which is a great idea in the digital age. Now, she's taking things a step (or many steps) further with a billboard campaign to find a husband. What do you think? Is this a creative way to find a lover or does it scream desperate?

According to KRON4, the billboards run along 101 from Santa Clara to San Francisco. Residents in the Bay Area have been talking about these since they started popping up and it's been going viral online. Interested? You can apply on her website.

I think it's a clever way to get yourself out there as long as you're not embarrassed by being that public and open. I think it's cool! What do you think?

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
