You never expect someone to want to steal a manhole cover. If they do, you assume it's just the one and it's a one time thing. Well, you'd be wrong. A Georgia man has been arrested after stealing more than 91 manhole covers in DeKalb County. FOX 5 Atlanta reports the break in the case came when someone captured video of 2 people removing manhole covers from their vehicles and then putting them back in before driving away. They were able to get a license plate and find a suspect. That led to the arrest of Kailan Whatley and you can see his mugshot provided by the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office below.

Georgia Man Arrested For Stealing Nearly 100 Manhole Covers
FOX 5 Atlanta reports that Whatley has been charged with 5 counts of theft of government property and additional charges are likely. That's an interesting thing to steal. What could you possibly do with more than 91 manhole covers? That wouldn't be easy to stash and it's not like you can do a lot with them. I'm lost on this one.
