People have been eating Ramen instant noodles for years now. I know it was a very popular college meal for me back in the day. But, it appears doctors have issued a warning because people have been burning themselves while imitating what they're seeing in a popular TV show.

According to Inside Edition, "An instant noodle challenge has been inspired by the most watched Netflix movie of all time: KPop Demon Hunters, and doctors are issuing a warning about the rise in burn injuries. In the popular animated film, a singing girl group battles evil, and they fuel up by slurping down ramen. Now social media users are slurping down ramen just like the movie characters, however, if you're not careful, you could get burned. Doctors are warning they are seeing an increase in burn injuries among children."

Cort should be the one writing this but he's out sick today! He is the person who knows about 'KPop Demon Hunters" and who knows, maybe he's even tried this Ramen challenge. We, on the other hand, have not seen this show and it looks like it's made for kids.

But, I will say, that with anything you eat, you should make sure it isn't scalding hot. The report states that after heating up these Instant Ramen meals, the temperature could reach around 203 degrees! You can't be sticking that right in your mouth.

So, if you have kids that are into this show, or you are into this show, be safe out there. Just because an animated character is eating scalding hot Ramen, doesn't mean that you can, or should. Give it a few blows and makes sure that the temperature is safe to consume.

We know that Dave likes to have his coffee scalding hot and he doesn't suffer serious burns. It's possible!
