Umm...did a guy really blast a record breaking fart on a televised talent show? That's what it looks like but you can't trust anything on the internet these days!

We were just talking on Dave & Chuck The Freak the other day about how you can trust any video or post you see online anymore thanks to artificial intelligence. Seriously, AI videos are so much more believable and realistic now than ever before. Now, there's a video of a guy blasting a long 40-second fart while seemingly appearing on a televised talent show. The video alleges that it broke a Guinness World Record. Is it real? Is it fake? See for yourself in the viral video below.

The post alleges that he broke the Guinness World Record for longest fart but there's no way that's something they actually keep record of is it?

It appears the video might not be real after all. Guinness World Records commented on an Instagrm post of the video saying, "No, that's not a record category we monitor. Unfortunately, this post is a load of hot air!"

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
