How do people not realize by now that jumping in an animal's enclosure or area at the zoo is a terrible idea? Not only can it lead to you possibly getting hurt or killed but they might have to take action upon the animal(s) to prevent them from harming you when it was you who jumped into their area. It's never a good idea, and it's never funny or cool. This time around it happened at the Pittsburgh Zoo when 19-year-old Noah Thomas, of Austintown, allegedly snuck into the zoo and entered the elephant enclosure, per FOX 59. Police say the elephant charged at him, rammed its gate, and tried to strike him with its trunk. He was able to escape before being harmed. Check out a video report shared by CBS Pittsburgh on YouTube below.

FOX 59 says the video was shared to his Instagram page, @justnoah.t, and was titled "professional gate jumper. Almost elephant food." You can tell he just wants to be cool so badly. Unfortunately, nope.

Thomas has been charged with causing or risking catastrophe, criminal trespass and conspiracy, recklessly endangering person and cruelty to animals, and theft of services. Some of those are third-degree felonies!

This was a terrible decision and it seems like it was all for attention online. These influencers have to stop this. It's not cool and someone or one of the animals could have been hurt during this stunt.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
