California Man’s Ex-Girlfriend Steals His Truck And Crashes During Chase

A California man's ex-girlfriend is in trouble after reportedly stealing his truck and crashing it during a chase in the Bay Area. This takes the proverbial crazy ex to another level.

You might think that you have a crazy ex, but are they as wild as this? This ex-girlfriend took things way too far. According to KRON 4, Lisabet Acosta Carbajal allegedly stole Brian Dietz's pickup truck (her ex) and also damaged other vehicles while leading police on a pursuit in the South Bay area. It sounds like she moved to Arizona but came by unexpectedly while allegedly intoxicated and stole his keys and drove off hitting his arm with the truck as she drove away, per KRON 4. That's how it all started, see how it played out in a video report from KRON 4 on YouTube below.

Dietz tells KRON 4, "I was at home minding my own business half asleep when a drunk ex-girlfriend barged into my house being belligerent. All I heard was my neighbor saying, 'Brian, Brian, she's got your truck.' I ran outside. She came barreling down the street."

29-year-old Cabajal was taken to the hospital once caught and was book on charges of vehicle theft, DUI, and evading police. Not only was his beloved truck that he invested a lot of money in ruined but $40k worth of tools fell out of the truck during the chase as well. Ouch. A GoFundMe has been started to help him get some money back.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
