There's a new Kohler camera that is able to watch you go to the bathroom and then it analyzes the results. It's the Kohler Dekoda and it's basically your own bathroom detective.

Kitchen and bathroom fixture company Kohler has been going all out to support its wellness brand, Kohler Health. It's quite amazing what they're doing and what they're coming out with. This is something I've never even thought about or didn't know we needed as a society. According to CNET, the Dekoda costs $599 and clamps over the rim like a toilet bowl cleaner and points an optical sensor at your toilet contents. It will then examine it for any blood and analyze your gut health and hydration status. Two very important things! There's even a subscription fee ranging between $70 and $156 per year depending on which plan you choose, per CNET. See a promo video for the Dekoda by Kohler Health below.

Looking to get yourself one? Read more about it and shop for one on the Kohler Health website! While it might sound ridiculous it could have a big impact and could make a huge difference. It could even save your life! You never know.

Does this seem like something you plan on adding to your bathroom sometime soon?

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
