We have seen a lot of GoFundMe campaigns over the years. Some of them make sense, some of them make no money when maybe they should and, some are downright bad. Did we find the worst GoFundMe ever today?
According to KRON4, " A dramatic police chase in the South Bay ended in a crash that totaled Brian Dietz’s pickup truck and damaged several other vehicles. The incident occurred after Dietz’s ex-girlfriend, Lisabet Acosta Carbajal, allegedly stole the truck and led police on a pursuit. Security footage captured the truck speeding down a residential street near Redwood City. Menlo Park police quickly located Carbajal driving the stolen vehicle and initiated a pursuit. The chase ended on Second Avenue when Carbajal rolled the truck, hitting multiple cars. Dietz plans to salvage parts from the totaled truck to use in a new one, with donations from the GoFundMe page aiding his efforts to get back to work."
So, we also found out that the guy didn't have any insurance on his skull-decal truck and that's partly why he has the GoFundMe. We see the truck and try to figure out exactly what he thinks people will help him with. He also doesn't mention that his ex-girlfriend stole his truck and totaled it in his campaign description.
We end up finding his ex-girlfriend and it makes Chuck think he should get some skulls on his Jeep. If he could pull a girl that out of his league, then it's time to drive the car that gets them.
It was a wild story and we wonder if this is the worst GoFundMe campaign we have come across. There have been some wild ones through the years. When you put all the pieces together from the story then you realize why this GoFundMe seems like one of the worst.
