Dave’s Deadly Text

While we are working on the show, like at any other job, we can get a text or phone call that can affect our mood. For the host of 'Ghost Adventures', it was a life-altering text. We watch the footage of the moment he learned his wife was trying to have him killed and imagine Dave getting the same text.

According to Daily Mail, "The host of Ghost Adventures was filming his paranormal reality show when he got a life-changing phone call from police who revealed they had arrested his wife for plotting his murder. Aaron Goodwin and his co-host Jay Wasley were setting up UV lights and polaroid cameras to take photos in an abandoned medical facility in Southern California when the presenter said he was feeling something peculiar. Ghost Adventures cut off the footage there, shielding viewers from the remainder of the gritty conversation where Goodwin was told that his wife, Victoria, had been arrested and charged for conspiracy to commit murder, according to TMZ."

So, after we discuss if they footage was real, or if maybe it was staged a little bit, we imagine something like this happening on our show. We do get texts from people in our lives that can affect our mood on the show. What would happen if Dave got a text saying that Amber was trying to kill him. We don't think we'd release the video and discuss the text on-the-air. But, our recreation is a pretty good depiction of what would probably actually happen.

Luckily, I can pretty safely say that none of us are going to receive a text like this during the show.

We do realize that the messages Dave would be getting would most likely just be from his refrigerator.
