Chuck Nude After Lightning Strike

Yesterday, we talked about the two hikers that were struck by lightning in Arizona. Well, we were able to hear an interview with one of the hikers today. We found out that the other guy had his clothes basically disintegrated by the lightning strike and was naked on the mountain. We imagine what would happen if that was Chuck.

According to 12News, "A northern Arizona hiker who was struck by lightning at the summit of Humphreys Peak says he and another man are alive today only because they were able to keep each other conscious, warm and calm while waiting hours for rescue in brutal weather. "There was no noise, I just woke up on my back, unable to move," Courtright said. Courtright said he blacked out for about 15 minutes. When he woke up, he said he was paralyzed, unable to move his arm believing it was broken. The other hiker was in worse condition, severely burned and nearly stripped of clothing from the strike, Courtright said. Courtright was burned on his feet, wrist and thigh but remained mobile."

We were happy to hear that the guys were in better shape than we expected. Chuck thought they might sound a little different. We were unaware that one guy was basically stripped naked by the lightning strike. We try to imagine what it would be like if this happened to Chuck. He definitely wouldn't want to be rescued. As you'll hear, he would rather be dealt with differently.

Now, Chuck isn't going to be on a mountain so there's no worry of this happening to him. But, if he was, he said he'd be wearing rubber underwear just to be safe.
