This would be awful. There are no shortage of ways to die out there and this might be one of the worst. According to Metro, 60-year-old Kevin Holding died in February 2023 when the pop-up urinal he was working under collapsed. Now, his long-time partner Katrina Woods has started a legal battle against his employers, Hi-Tech Washrooms Solutions, and is suing for roughly $200,000. Sounds like there are many of these pop-up urinals in London that rise from the ground. Metro says there was a failure with its hydraulic system due to corrosion and it fell through and crushed him killing him nearly instantly.

The company is denying liability suggesting he contributed to his own death and that he was negligent because he failed to take care of his own safety.
The case has yet to be decided in court but thoughts go out to his family and loved ones. Hopefully they're able to come to a decision soon and end the case that's been going on for a while it sounds like. This would be a scary way to go! Be careful if you work a job like this or something that could be dangerous.
