Did elephants plan this attack? Are they capable of doing that? Usually, you think of elephants as these large gentle giants--but apparently that's not always the case. PEOPLE reports that 43-year-old Saidi Jahari was found dead by his co-workers on the morning of October 29th. Reports say the loggers were sleeping in tents when they heard and smelled elephants approaching and they took off for safety in the woods, but Saidi was unable to make it in time, per PEOPLE. His co-workers returned hours later and found him with 2 broken legs. However, that wasn't then end of it. Later that night, a bull elephant that's believed to be the herd leader returned and attacked again--this time killing Saidi.

Sik Choon Foo, superintendent of the District Police, tells PEOPLE, "After the area calmed, the group returned and found the victim was no longer there. Searches nearby discovered Saidi deceased on the exit path, with severe injuries consistent with being trampled by an elephant."
You have to be careful if you're sleeping and hanging out in their territory! Wild animals don't always like that.
