This is not the first time that Dave & Chuck the Freak has experienced technical difficulties. I mean, we have an entire sounder dedicated to Dave's computer not working. Well, for some reason we weren't able to hear any audio coming from his computer while trying to watch a news story. Cort and some listeners were able to apparently. It was chaos behind the scenes!
According to ESPN, "Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin made hockey history Wednesday night, becoming the first NHL player to score 900 career goals. Ovechkin was eventually given that record-setting puck -- once St. Louis Blues goalie Jordan Binnington stopped hiding it in his pants."
So, this is the story we were trying to share with everyone. However, we were unable to hear the audio. Dave was trying to fix his computer, we had Albert (Kevin) the Engineer come into help and it was complete chaos behind the scenes, on the air.
Somehow, Cort was able to hear all the audio that was playing and every time we heard the audio, and thought it was fixed, it was actually just because we were hearing it through his open mic.
Frustrations were growing and it was evident.
We do hope that you enjoy the show, even when it's falling apart in front of our eyes. Luckily, we were able to get everything up and running properly and continue the show!
