JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Crew Inhaled Vaped Weed

A JetBlue flight from Boston to Tampa had to turn around and make an emergency landing after the crew reportedly inhaled vaped weed. You can't smoke--or vape--on a plane!

Stories like this always confuse me. You couldn't wait until you landed to smoke and get high? The flight isn't a very long one! You can definitely make it and wait. However, some people don't use common sense and can't seem to wait for the short trip to be over. BoingBoing reports that someone vaped weed in one of the bathrooms and the crew ended up inhaling it. According to BoingBoing, it's unclear who the "crew" is referring to. It could be flight attendants or the pilots.

Sounds like it was a passenger in first class who was responsible. That's an expensive ticket that's about to become even more expensive. BoingBoing says they could face a fine and federal criminal charges. It also could result in a civil lawsuit in addition to a life time ban.

Just wait until you get to your destination! Usually, you will get caught doing something like this and it just isn't worth it.
