There are some things that we can't let go. Other things, we just forget about and move on. Today, we really wanted to know some details about a story and the news station wasn't giving us the information. We had to solve the case of the Dollar Store Dad Mystery.

According to KPTV, "An 11-year-old Pennsylvania boy is sharing one of the most frightening experiences he’s had in his young life. He spotted a bear outside a store, and it started chasing him. Cole Frazee, 11, and his dad stopped to grab a few things at a Family Dollar in Markleysburg. The boy went outside to see what was taking his dad so long, and that’s when he saw a black bear looking right at him. At first, Cole thought the bear was going to turn around. Instead, it started chasing him. “When it runs after me, I turn around and run in the store. I’m screaming and stuff. The thing was like a foot and a half away from me,” he said. “I took a left, and the bear went straight.”"

Well, the boy ended up being fine and all was well. But, what we wanted to know was what happened to the dad. He didn't appear in the interview, he wasn't really mentioned after the bear chase either. Where did dad go?!

We were not going to give up until we found out some answers about dad's whereabouts. It took quite some time. For some reason, no one at the news station was asking questions about the father. Did he not want to be interviewed? Was he doing something that he shouldn't have been doing. That's what we were speculating.
