Trusting a mechanic can be difficult. What do I know about cars and how they work? Pretty much nothing! So, it wouldn't be difficult to try to trick me to get more money out of me. I'm sure I'm not alone. It's very important to trust and rely on your mechanic and it sounds like this one might not be the most reliable around. According to Gulf Coast News, Frederick Ciampi, owner of Lemon Bay Auto in Charlotte County, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after attacking the customer. See a video report about the angry Florida mechanic shared by Gulf Coast News on YouTube below.

Gulf Coast News reports that a customer, Anthony Caruana, brought his 2004 Aviator in to the shop for a new transmission and says, "When they put the new one in, and the old sludge went into the new one and destroyed it. When I brought it to his attention, he snapped." That's when reports say he hit him over the head with a pipe.

Sounds like the pair had known each other for 20 years and have had a good relationship up until that point. You never know what's going to make someone finally snap!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
