When you think of a judge, you probably think of someone very serious and professional. It's their job! They have to be taken seriously. However, not every judge is like that. He's a judge in St. Charles County, Missouri. His name is Matthew Thornhill and reports are painting a wild picture of him, if you aren't familiar. I imagine locals are very familiar with him and his antics by now. Official documents say he wore an Elvis Presley wig in court and often made references to the King. The unnecessary comments didn't stop there.

KSDK reports that Thornhill failed to maintain decorum, dignity and order in the courtroom, engaged in political activity while conducting court business; and intervened in a child adoption case.
KSDK says he would also allegedly mention his political affiliation and would make comments about where his "Thornhill for Judge" campaign signs were located and talked about them.
He has been suspended 6 months without pay, after that he can return as a judge for 18 months and then he must resign and can't run for re-election again.
