Suspect On The Run Tries Changing Clothes At Thrift Store

A suspect on the run from law enforcement decided to try to fool them by changing clothes at a thrift store. However, it did not work the way he had planned.

You can't blame him for trying! Points for creativity at least. According to KIRO 7, a 31-year-old man tried to run from police in a stolen truck and after a chase through a neighborhood he went into a Goodwill store to change clothes in hopes of escaping. Unfortunately, it didn't work well for him. He was arrested inside the store thanks to store security. See a video report shared by the Seattle Police Department on YouTube below.

According to KIRO 7, the man was arrested and officers recovered 25.9 grams of fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia. He's now facing counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding, and possession with intent to distribute and was booked into the King County Jail.

Again, points for trying but you can't do that! A change of clothes might fool people in the Superman universe but in real life? Not so much.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
