A West Virginia man was shot in the head while shooting rats with another guy. The 2 men reportedly wrestled over the gun and he ended up being shot in the head!

Thankfully, he's now recovering but it could have gone much worse. It happened in Newell, West Virginia. When officers arrived on scene they found the victim holding a blood-soaked towel to his head. He was in stable condition when he was brought to the hospital. At first, it was believed it happened while cleaning the gun but it was later determined that the victim and another man were shooting at rats outside a second-story window using a small-caliber rifle and when they fought over the gun it discharged hitting the victim in the head, per WFMJ.

Don't shoot at rats when you're that close to buildings and other people! That's not a smart idea and will only end in trouble.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
