What's the bizarre item a Chinese man had inside his stomach for 30 years? It's something that would be hard to swallow that's for sure.
You don't want foreign objects inside your body. It can cause lots of harm that you might not even be aware of--and that's outside the pain it might have caused going down into your stomach. It's truly amazing what some people somehow consume and have inside of them for years. For this guy, he had a cigarette lighter removed from his stomach roughly 3 decades after swallowing it. According to MSN, the Chinese man is known only by his surname, Deng, and said it swallowed the lighter as a part of a drunken bet back in 1991! Since then, reports say he's had major health issues and finally had to get it out of there and address the issue.
To get it out they had to use a condom, per MSN! What a weird method that you'd never expect. Sounds like he went a long time without it bothering him but then recently he started getting severe stomach pains. You don't want lighter fluid or whatever is inside those tiny lighters leaking out and thankfully he was able to avoid that.
