A grandma is going viral online after lighting a birthday cake and nearly setting the house on fire. Who let grandma light the cake?

Someone should have done a better job delegating. Just be thankful grandma is there and let her relax at the table. Don't pick her to light the cake! You never know what could go wrong. This time, it almost ended with the house burning down. Thankfully, it didn't and they were able to put out the fire but it doesn't look like it was an easy task. Check out the viral video shared on TikTok below.

Listening to the family's reaction, it sounds like this might not have been grandma's first time doing something like this. It almost sounds like they expected something to happen. Am I hearing that correctly? The video was shared by @kristinahyde on TikTok and has more than 2.4M likes to go along with more than 47k comments. I bet many people can relate to the video.

Pure chaos erupts after things start on fire. It falls off the table and starts spreading but they eventually get it out. The mood lightens by the end of the video once they get things taken care of.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
