A California resident is making waves online after putting a box set outside of their house with a sign saying, "Merry Christmas! FREE WEED!" with dozens of jars filled with marijuana in the box. Some might think this is cool but not everyone is loving it.

Some would say that the best kind of weed is free weed. They have a point. However, taking weed from strangers isn't always a good idea and having this sign be close to a school (which it was) presents another problem. FOX 13 Now says that there were 29 jars of marijuana next to the sign--that's a lot of weed! See a news report from AZ Family here.

After having it reported, it was disposed of responsibly. The Auburn Police Department said on social media, "The holidays can be stressful. We get it. But leaving a box of 'free' marijuana on the sidewalk is not how you spread cheer to the neighborhood. Surprises are for stockings, not sidewalks," via FOX 13 Now.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
