The Ohio restaurant workers arrested for faking a robbery using ChatGPT are the subjects of our Mugshots Of The Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak. They definitely earned the title.

The incident happened at Rubin's Deli in Elyria, Ohio. Robberies happen all the time and police are ready to respond. What they aren't ready for? Is to show up to the robbery and there's no crime taking place--everything is normal. It sounds like that's what happened here. Officers with the Elyria Police Department responded to an active robbery at the restaurant and when they arrived they didn't see anything wrong. Nothing of the 3 masked men who were reportedly robbing the place. It didn't take long for them to figure out what was going on.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
