A Michigan man shared a video of his entire block without power except for one house--the one with the epic Christmas light display. Is it just a coincidence or is that where all the power went?

The video is now going viral on social media and it's pretty funny to see. I doubt it's a coincidence, right? Check out the viral video shared by ViralHog on YouTube below.

The video was shared by Tom Langan and Tom tells ViralHog, "This is a street with a cul-de-sac in Livonia Michigan. I live on the end of the cul-de-sac. Mike and Jen next door decorate their house and the island for Christmas. Each year it gets bigger and better. They have won awards in the past. One night a couple weeks ago, my house lost power. I went outside and every house on the block was without power EXCEPT FOR MY NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE (who I now call the Griswalds) and their Christmas lights. Power was out for several hours. This must’ve been divine Intervention because they do not have a generator.. You just can’t make this up. In Facebook comments, people say I sound like Tim Allen."

That's crazy. That house is definitely hogging up all the power. That would be frustrating.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
