What have been the worst movies of the 21st century? We're more than a quarter of the way through the century, and there have been some bad movies made.

Honestly, it's hard to think of the worst movie of the 21st century because there are so many to choose from. We've been given a lot of slop since the millennium. But what are the worst of the worst? Screen Crush made their picks for the 21 worst movies that have been released in the 21st century and I think they put together a very solid list. You can read it in full here.

Look, I enjoy some bad movies. Sometimes, they can be so bad they're good. You know the type? Well, these aren't those. These are bad...even for me. Let's cover some of the highlights from Screen Crush's list.

At the top of their list is Disaster Movie (2008). That was one of those movies that parodied other movies and it was bad. Unlike Scary Movie and I even enjoyed Date Movie. But Disaster Movie? Nope. It earned the top spot.

The Master of Disguise (2002) was named the second worst movie of the 21st century by Screen Crush. It had its funny parts but it was a terrible movie. Dolittle (2020) with Robert Downey Jr. was named the 3rd worst movie of the century. Then, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) and Alone in the Dark (2005) round out the top (bottom?) 5.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
