Couple Arrested For Armed Robbery At New Mexico ‘Adult Store’

A couple has been arrested for armed robbery at a New Mexico adult store. Clearly, they really wanted to get their freak on!

The incident happened in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Sounds like they were trying to spice up their sex life and didn't want to pay for it or find a way to do it legally. So, this couple opted to steal from an adult store in the area. According to KOAT, the man and woman were arrested after stealing sexually oriented merchandise, threatening employees, injuring a man, and then fleeing. See a video shared by KOAT on YouTube below.

According to KOAT, the suspects were identified as 49-year-old Du Huyah and 45-year-old Heather Martinez. KOAT says Huyah hit an employee in the back of the head with his fists several times and even pointed a gun at him.

After a brief chase, law enforcement was able to stop their car and arrest the pair. Huyan has been charged with battery, aggravated assault, fleeing an officer, larceny, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (2 counts), per KOAT. Meanwhile, Martinez was charged with aggravated battery (deadly weapon) and larceny.
