A Florida man was busted going 129mph and ended up blaming it on his fast food order taking too long. He said it was going to make him late to work.

Fast food does seem to be taking a little bit longer than usual these days. But that doesn't mean you have an excuse to be late to work or to go 129mph hour. That's dangerous. The incident happened in Clearwater, Florida. According to 9 News, the Florida man was arrested after police say he drove 129mph because his McDonald's order took too long during his lunch break. That Florida man has been identified as 19-year-old Christopher Garcia-Caminos.

9 News says Garcia-Caminos was driving 129 miles per hour in a 55 zone. Thankfully, no injuries were reported or nobody was hurt during the speeding. That means he's up against Florida's recent Super Speeder law.

Don't go that fast to get to work. Just accept that your lunch ran a little late and hopefully your boss will understand. Don't put other people in harm's way because your order ran late.
