I feel like if most 12-year-olds missed the bus they'd count it as a win and have a free day off. Well, not this 12-year-old in North Carolina. He decided to get behind the wheel to try to make it to school on time. He takes his education seriously and I like to see that. According to The New York Post, officers pulled an SUV over around 8:30am after the driver showed suspicious behavior and had a fictious license plate (that might not be the kid's fault). After pulling the SUV over, they realized it was a 12-year-old boy who said he missed the bus and chose to drive himself to school. The boy's school was contacted and a resource officer took him to campus. See a video report shared by WBTV News on YouTube below.

Don't let your kids have access to your keys like that! You never know what might happen! Thankfully the kid wasn't hurt during the incident and nobody else was either. It's unclear why the car had a fake license plate.
