This suspect is like a real-life Oscar The Grouch from Sesame Street! He fled from police and hid in a garbage can and was later found by a sanitation worker!

The incident happened in Huber Heights, Ohio. According to WHIO, a Huber Heights officer initiated a traffic stop and when the vehicle stopped the driver got out and ran away. The man then went and hid in a garbage can like Oscar The Grouch. Then, shortly after dash cam video shows a sanitation worker pushing a trash bin to the back of a truck and the suspect jumps out of it! The real-life Oscar The Grouch has been identified as 27-year-old Jonathan McMillan. See a video shared by Huber Heights Police on Facebook below.

He's lucky he got out of that thing before he was put in the truck! That would have been painful. McMillan was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on obstructing official business and resisting arrest charges. He also had a warrant from Miami County, per WHIO. He only got a warning for the initial traffic infraction too.

What a wild story. Read more from WHIO here.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
