A Whataburger manager is going viral online after subduing an angry customer with a trash can after the suspect allegedly attacked employees. Clearly, he was not having it.

This happened at a Whataburger in Paris, Texas. The incident was captured on video by witnesses at the popular burger chain. I've heard nothing but good things about Whataburger but have never had a chance to try it. According to WFAA, a customer at the location was verbally abusive to the staff and when the manager asked him to leave he complied but threatened to return to the store to assault the manager after police left. Well, he stayed true to his word and came back and punched the manager multiple times. Check out a video report shared by KHOU 11 on YouTube below.

The manager was able to recover from the punches and subdue the man with help from a trash can and was able to force him out of the store.

The suspect has been identified as 41-year-old Anthony William Newhuis of Spring, Texas. He has been arrested and charged with assault resulting in bodily injury and public intoxication, per WFAA.

However, the trouble didn't stop there. Newhuis was taken to jail where he reportedly flooded the cells so he was charged with criminal mischief less than $750 as well.
