A Redmond Police officer's encounter with a determined beaver was caught on camera and is going viral on social media. The cop and beaver could be the stars of a buddy comedy!

It happened in Redmond, Washington and it's not the usual call that police would receive. According to KOMO, the Redmond Police Department received a report of a beaver trying to cross the road and didn't appear to have any regard for public safety nor itself. See the humorous post on X shared by @RedmondWaPD below.

As the post on X says, nobody was hurt during the incident and no arrests were made. Fun little post from the Redmond Police Department. Glad the little guy wasn't hurt and nobody else either.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
