Dave’s Jingle Test

We all know that Dave is 'The Jingle Man'. He can't help himself from remembering a jingle and then singing it whenever it's mentioned. Sometimes, just a word can trigger him and he'll start single a jingle. Well, maybe it's time we put that talent to use and made some money. Did this woman who made a Dr. Pepper jingle inspire Dave?

According to People, "A woman’s TikTok jingle for Dr Pepper has gone viral — and national! TikToker Romeo shared a video on Dec. 23 singing a “theme song” she made up for Dr Pepper — and a few weeks later, it has popped up in a new official commercial for the soda company that recently aired during a big football game.  In Romeo’s video, she shared her initial tune, singing, “Dr Pepper baby. It’s good and nice. Doo. Doo. Doo.” Over the video she wrote that she “had to act on this before someone got sent this in a dream and steal it from me, so I impulsively posted this.” In her caption she tagged the company and noted, “please get back to me with a proposition we can make thousands together.” The video garnered over 42 million views, five million likes and over 300,000 bookmarks as of Jan. 21. It even caught the attention of Dr Pepper, which replied, “hold on.... you might be onto something.”"

So, because Dave is the jingle expert and has had his idea ripped off by a major corporation, we think it's time to try again. If anyone can create a great jingle, it's Dave. So, we put him on the spot and see if he can come up with a jingle right off the top of his head. Jason holds up a brand and then Dave fires. Is this Honey Bunches of Oats jingle going to take off? Probably not. But, if we tried dozens of brands, one of them would stick for sure!
