A Very Canadian Crime: Hockey Stick Theft

I played hockey my entire life and now seeing the prices of hockey gear, I may be in support of this story. Since I played, sticks have went up another 2 to 300 dollars. A store in Quebec’s Laurentians region was targeted for a totally Canadian crime.

Pierre Gendron, owner of Sports Rousseau in Boisbriand says he still cannot believe it. In the video above you can see a man stealing several expensive sticks and loading them into the back of his car.

Gendron says he estimates the man stole between 4 and 5 thousands dollars worth of gear. The police are investigating and are hoping to hunt down the man who stole these sticks.
