Students at Stanford are working on A.I.-powered glasses that act like a personal teleprompter to help you chit-chat.

They listen to what people say, and use ChatGPT to come up with things to say back.  So they could be useful for job interviews, or even dates.

It essentially combines a few different AI apps, a chat bot, and puts it into a computerized monocle.  The monocle will display the text screen with the chat answers.

The developer says there is still a lot more work that needs to be done on the hardware and still difficult to wear the monocle comfortably. The chat responses are also a bit lagged making it a touch awkward between speakers.
