Introducing The Doorbell Camera That Shoots Paintballs
Introducing the doorbell camera that shoots paintballs! The new innovation would give would-be intruders a new reason to never come back to your house again. Sure, a camera is often enough to stop someone. However, a paintball gun gives even more reason to not come close to your door.
With a doorbell camera that shoots objects, what could possibly go wrong? Let’s find out!
A Doorbell Camera That Shoots Paintballs Is In The Works
A paintball door camera is certainly one way to stop those pesky ding-dong-ditchers. According to New Atlas, a big-thinking Slovenian startup has come up with a smart security camera that will open fire on possible intruders using paintball pellets (or tear gas rounds) with precision. While this could be greatly beneficial, you can’t help but wonder how it would be if it falls into the wrong hands? I would never go to my buddy’s place again if he fired paintball rounds at me while waiting for them at the front door.
There are several options for doorbell cameras for your home. There are some that come with subscription plans, others that stream to your phone, and some that are meant for your dog or pets. These types of cameras can be good for safety and observing what’s going on at your house. However, a doorbell cam that shoots paintballs would be a first of its kind.
According to New Atlas, PaintCam Eve uses automatic target marking, face recognition, and AI-based decision making to identify unfamiliar visitors to your home. It will provide a warning to intruders and if they fail to comply within a time limit, the camera will begin to fire paintballs.
In addition to that very unique feature, it does serve the normal functions you’d expect with doorbell cameras. There’s remote access and stuff to allow you to take control. Check out some examples of the PaintCam Eve below! Do you think you’d get one of these for your place?
