Liquid Death, Depend Release the ‘Pit Diaper’
Liquid Death continues to be a branding juggernaut, and now, they've recruited Depend to release the Pit Diaper.What exactly is the "Pit Diaper"? It's a low-rise pair of pleather underwear that comfortably holds one Depend Guards for Men that allows you to relieve yourself while you're in a mosh pit.Liquid Death eloquently describes the Pit Diaper as "an innovative new solution to help fans like you stay in the safety of the pit and still enjoy all the great-tasting Liquid Death you love!"The infomercial for it is truly stunning and must be seen to be believed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIZUowoc4F8 The website says the $75 Pit Diaper is sold out. However, we wouldn't be shocked if this whole thing was just created for buzz and the Pit Diaper wasn't even on sale in the first place. At the same time, it sort of doesn't matter if the Pit Diaper even exists, because even if it's a joke concept, it's still funny as hell. This isn't the first time in 2024 that the folks at Liquid Death had us laughing. The ad opens on two young guys opening up a packet of Death Dust when an SUV pulls up with Osbourne in the back seat. He yells out to the guys, "Hey kids! Death Dust? Take it from me: Don't snort that stuff."The two guys are stunned to encounter the Prince of Darkness out in the wild. One guy responds, "We weren't planning on snorting it." The other guy adds, "Yeah, we're gonna mix it with water and hydrate." The first guy then says, "It's got electrolytes, which your body needs."Osbourne cuts them off and says, "Whatever you do, don't try freebasing it, and never, ever inject it! And don't even think about boofing it, you little perverts. You know, when you stick it up your..."The ad then cuts to a packet of Death Dust being opened and poured into some water. The cheeky tagline reads, "It's not drugs. You're somehow making Liquid Death cooler than it already is. If you don't earn some sort of holiday bonus, riot. (Okay...maybe don't riot, but retaliate in some sort of harmless, yet clever way.)
