Man Arrested For DUI While Wearing “I’m The Reason The Beer’s Always Gone” Novelty Shirt
(Marion County Sheriff's Office)
A 41-year-old man in Florida was arrested for DUI earlier this month, and he was wearing a t-shirt that fit the moment perfectly.
According to this report, 41-year-old James Rix Jr. was being pulled over by a Marion County Sheriff for going almost 90 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.
The deputy turned on his emergency lights and tried to pull Rix over. Rix fled the deputy and attempted to evade him by turning off the lights in his truck. That trick didn’t work and the deputy caught up to him.
Once out of the vehicle Rix failed some field sobriety tests and was arrested with DUI. You can see in the arrest video he is wearing a shirt that said, “I’M THE REASON THE BEER’S ALWAYS GONE.”
