Britney Spears' upcoming memoir, The Women in Me, is set for release on October 24. Ahead of the book, reports from TMZ revealed that in 2000, Justin Timberlake and Spears faced a challenging decision regarding a pregnancy. Ultimately, they opted for an abortion. They mentioned that the decision to have an abortion continued to have a lasting impact on Spears.

TMZ's sources knowledgeable about the book's contents reveal Spears felt Timberlake was the love of her life during their relationship. Two sources told TMZ their relationship was very serious, even to the extent of Spears wanting to marry Timberlake. However, this ultimately didn’t work out.

Timberlake is feeling some apprehension about the memoir.

Page Six reported Timberlake is feeling some apprehension about what Britney might reveal about their past relationship in her memoir. An insider told Page Six that he is curious about what will be revealed. Their highly publicized breakup occurred in 2002, ending a three-year relationship. Later, Spears had her first child, Sean Preston, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2005, followed by the birth of Jayden James in 2006.

In 2021, the New York Times documentary Framing Britney Spears brought renewed attention to an infamous 20/20 interview with Timberlake, reigniting discussions around him. The documentary dived into Spears' early 2000s romance with the *NSYNC star and its aftermath. This includes allegations of infidelity on her part. In response to the renewed discussion, Timberlake issued an apology to his former partner.

Britney's The Women in Me

This memoir release comes nearly two years after Britney's release from her long-standing court-ordered conservatorship, which lasted for 13 years. The conservatorship was terminated in November 2021 following Spears's public testimony in court in June 2021.

The Women in Me promises to reveal, for the first time, Britney's personal journey and the strength at the core of one of the most iconic figures in the history of pop music. According to a post on Gallery Books' Instagram, the book will highlight the enduring power of music and love, emphasizing the significance of a person sharing their own story on their own terms.
